I stayed here with my 70 year old mom on our two week vacation across Scandinavia. We were most excited to stay at the Wide Hotel- it looked really awesome online. In real life it was just fine, but we paid almost $1,800 for our three night stay. It was by the far the most we paid and definitely the least impressive experience. We had a room on the top floor with a balcony that we had to bring all of our luggage to with no offer to help at all, it was raining and stressful to drag it across the entire roof of the hotel- again, this is typical in Europe but not for a room that cost $600 a night. Also, I think because our room had a balcony, and was on the top floor, people must smoke in the room or at least outside because it smelled like smoke. Just not the best value, was very disappointed. If this room was $300 a night I also would have been disappointed.
