Our only complaint was the bed. It was pretty hard & not very comfortable. Staff & shuttle drivers were very friendly.

I stayed at this hotel for my first trip to Mayo Clinic. The hotel has an hourly shuttle that is convenient. You can also catch the quarter-hour shuttle at St. Mary's (across the street) if you're mobile. The hotel is very casual. It's hard to figure out where to enter; I had parked and tried to get in a door that was only accessible to people with key cards; since the signage on that street indicated the hotel was *there*, that's where I tried to go in. My room was large and clean. It had a living area, as well as a cooking area with cooktop, microwave, full sized fridge (which I needed on this trip) and dishwasher. The bathroom space was broken up into the sink/closet area and then the "WC" (water closet) where the toilet and shower were. In other words, if you're with someone else and they're in the shower, you might have to wait to pee. The front desk staff were about 50/50 in terms of their knowledge and interest in their work. There's a little "market" area where you can get snacks, but it's not self serve, so if the front desk is busy it may take a while to check out your items.

What a wonderful and extremely helpful staff. So kind and helpful and accommodating. I will most definitely stay again. Such a wonderful experience!

The kitchen setup and laundry setup was excellent. The bathroom vent fan did not operate. The 2 chair setup for television viewing was small and uncomfortable. As well as there was no setup for a cup of coffee while watching tv. The location of television and the limited wall cable length restricted the ability to position the tv screen to enable viewing from the bed. The bed mattress was very firm. The location of the hotel to the hospital is excellent.

Air conditioning was great! Parking was easy.
