Had a great overnight stay here. The room was clean and comfortable. I had my dog with me and there was a really nice path down by the pond to walk him. Would definitely stay here again.
Excellent confortable, clean, and pleasant hotel. Very courteous staff. Did not give 5 stars due to the bed sheets being made of some kind of polyester that I found very desagreable to the touch.
No tv for several days into my 5 day stay. Upstairs guest were so loud they kept me up I called twice and they said they took care of it and happened all night long. The staff had told me they were going to give me a discount and when I checked out she told me the manager said give a night free but then said they couldn’t because it was through Expedia and I needed to contact them. I did and Expedia put me on hold and talked to them asking the issues and got the managers contact and email and then refused to give me a discount.
Overall, our stay was disappointing due to the cleanliness and odor issues on our floor. There was a strong unpleasant smell, apparently from a wet towel that had been left behind. The bathtub was also not cleaned properly and had visible oily stains.
For a hotel stay, especially considering the expectations for cleanliness, these issues should have been addressed before the room was given to guests. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and improves the housekeeping inspection process.
The hotel was remodel and with carpet halls and hardwood floors in room! It smell refreshing when you wall though the door! It was a good stay! Staff was very kind and pleasant!
The staff were kind & helpful. Great customer service. The only reason that I wouldn’t return is because the shower pressure was weak/low. It has one of those showers that you can turn the dial to change the flow. The only one that had a decent pressure came out of 4-5 holes, so it was weak overall.
Also, I remember before I booked the hotel seeing a lot of complaints about the breakfast. I disagree. I thought it was quite good for a continental breakfast. They had a lovely yogurt bar & they had hard boiled eggs, both of which I thought were unique offerings in addition to the expected assortment.
The room was clean and the bed was good. I didn't really like the breakfast; there were no eggs or sausage. They had packaged oatmeal, and the hot water was in the lobby. The bagel was very good. I won't stay again. The walls were a little thin.
The staff member who checked us in was friendly and efferent.
The amenities were clean, well kept and welcoming. The outside courtyard was a bonus for our group to gather for happy hour. The wine, beer, nachos and popcorn were nice touch!
Rooms were spacious clean and comfortable.
Breakfast was delicious with plenty of hot and cold chooses.
Downside - the morning clerk was not friendly at all. Everyone in our group were put off by her attitude. No smile. She refuses to print our receipts. I have booked 18 stays at various hotels in different chains and different states and this is the first who refused to morning for us. You don’t want that attitude when leaving. A friendly, “come again” is the correct goodbye.
The room was clean and set up nicely you could however tell a dog had stayed sometime before. But no big deal. The breakfast bar was a bit lacking in the hot food department but was still efficient! The coffee was hot and the staff was great!!
The hotel was handy for a quick visit to Rochester. It was clean and well maintained.
We had no issues. The breakfast looked sparse and light but we did not expect more than was there for the price.
This a pretty good hotel for the price. You get what you pay for. This is a fairly new hotel so it isn’t run down. Everything is small and condensed and cheap-but new and again, consider the price. The bed was quite comfortable, and they offer queens when some hotels only offer full.
And a lot of people have their dogs and the rooms smell like dog-which many economy hotels do now.
The breakfast has no hot food: Bagels, packaged muffins, packaged oatmeal, cereal, boiled eggs, yogurt machine.
