"The hotel itself was nice enough but we were very disappointed on arrival to find that the bar and the restaurant were both closed for reasons my Spanish was not good enough to understand. The promised restaurants in the village turned out to also be closed but we were eventually able to find some snacks at a bar. Having specifically booked a place with bar and restaurant it is very annoying to have to traipse around finding something to eat after a day's travelling. "

"Everything was perfect. Surrounded by beautiful vineyards and extremely peaceful in the evenings. It was the perfect place to spend a weekend. Short drive to Haro and easy parking. Wine tastings available and apartment is large and equipped with everything you need. Very spacious private patio to spend the evenings. I can't wait to return. "

"We booked late in the day, as travelling long journey, staff was outstanding adjusting check-in and accommodating our needs. "Hotel Pura Vida was a beautiful hotel nestled into a beautiful village in the middle of La Rioja. The staff were super friendly and lovely towards our 7 month old son. There is a garden out the back with lovely dappled sunlight and views over the village. We would definitely stay here again, if we ever return to the area. Thanks so much for a lovely stay."

"Apartment was spacious and clean. Easy to come in and out with code. Right in the middle of town. Only thing is beware where you park as some days in weekend are free and some times are not so we got a couple tickets. "
