“The place was impeccable, thoughtful and inviting. The self checkout worked perfectly. It did lack a little direction when arriving but otherwise, this i a very well hidden gem and i would love to see the concept elsewhere. It makes me want to go back to Deer Island every day just to sleep there!”

“The first thing I noticed was how filthy the rugs are in the halls. Filthy!!!!! The rooms are clean but nasty rugs also. This hotel obviously has a high volume of people going through it. The restaurant bar does a big business. The people who work there are very nice. But when I went out the back door past the kitchen, it also struck me as dirty. “We recently stayed here with our children, and it was without question the worst hotel stay we have ever experienced. For a resort charging premium prices, the level of cleanliness, maintenance, and customer service was completely unacceptable.
