“Glad it was only one night. We had probably the nicest room in the hotel. There’s no regulator on the hot water. I was showering and someone must have either flushed a toilet or turned on the cold water and I was scalded. Very upsetting and stressful end to my day. The blow dryer was from the 1980’s. Took forever to dry my hair. Our balcony room had a balcony you could only access from the hall corridor. I went to use it and some random couple was on it and I was left to ask them to leave. They……

“It is an older motel built probably in the 1960's. The rooms are smallish. It was probably quite beautiful back in the day. One can see that the property needs attention . . . the little fence at the entrance is rotten; the stone figurines have decayed; the asphalt driveway has sunk in a few places, etc.
What is to be admired . . . the incredible variety of trees creating a glorious shade over the property on those hot days . . . it is out of the way and yet just minutes from the main drag .……
