“The home was beautifully built and we were very excited to be able to gather at a place that could accommodate all of us, fourteen in all plus one dog. Imagine my surprise when I walked in and seen how filthy it was. As a person that lives in a log home myself and also as a previous VRBO owner I understand the care it takes to keep a house like that clean. The walls were covered in dust and dirt, the staircase was covered in dust, dirt and animal hair. There were dead flies all over and mice……

“Never actually got to stay. Was quite excited, but the remoteness, detailed chores associated with the stay, and traveling alone, seemed better to forfeit. Maybe next time.”

“This house was so nice. It’s a short walk to the shore. The hot tub on the deck gives it a gold star. This is a great weekend destination if you enjoy down time, the lake, and fishing. We’d definitely stay here again.”
