We paid $50 for 1 night so it was cheap. But we were stunned at how nasty the room was! There were stains everywhere that you would be scared to touch anything. The white sheets are almost grayish in color. The knobs for the air conditioning were missing so you cannot make any adjustments. Thank goodness we had disinfectant wipes with us. You are better off sleeping in the car Avoid, Avoid Avoid. Apartment was filty, under construction and full of insects as cockroaches and bed bugs. It have lights not working, paint or fingernail polish over stuff in several locations. Large holes in the bath ceiling. The last draw was bugs on the bed. I have several photos of the room. Farmington Inn in Farmington, New Mexico was the only available option for our stay in a two hour radius, we drove down, and when we arrived things looked ok, it was strange that the receptionist/office was at a small window with a small slot to pass documents, but OK, it was late-ish. we checked in, found parking and of course the elevator is not working, and by the looks of it, it has not worked for years. the property was not clean, but also OK, the rooms might still be OK, but of course they were not, other peoples hair in the bed (on the sheets as well as the cover) and on the towels. the room reeked of marijuana, it "felt" unsafe, and then we saw the bullet holes in the wall, with a convenient arrow pointing to it with the text "FPD" which must have meant Farmington Police Department. car alarms where going off a few times the few minutes we were there, there was a sketchy looking individual obseriving us from the moment we had parked and entered our room, this individual was up on the same floor as we had our room. we checked out after having used the restroom and observed the uncleanliness of the room as well as the bullet hole. This hotel was awful. The room was filthy, stains on chair, bedspread etc. Chipped and marked up paint. Missing cover on bathroom fan. Literally trash and dust piles under furniture. Window drape was filthy and has holes in it. Headboard was for a king but bed was queen. I actually saw roaches!! I took photos of all of these and more. Hotels.com should NOT A:LLOW this hotel i their network.
