“We had a wonderful time at Dorado Cottage. The place is spotless, very well appointed, and had excellent air conditioning. The pictures of the place DO NOT deceive. It was very hot and we loved being able to come into the air conditioned cottage when we couldn't bear the heat. There were four of us senior women, and we appreciated the owners quick response to any concerns. Note to other seniors, there are stairs but they are manageable. The 2 ladies who had knee problems stayed in the upstairs……

“Absolutely loved our stay at the Boathouse. The host (Sarah) and staff (Lauchie) were extremely responsive, friendly and helpful. The view from the main living space was incredible - having dinner on the balcony, overlooking Cameron Lake while the sun was setting was absolute perfection. The water was a bit choppy the first couple of days, but it didn’t take away from the fun of getting in for a swim or kayak. I’ve never seen such an incredible sandbar! You can walk out so far from the shore and……

“Our Multigenerational Family visit was amazing. Cottage was everything we expected and more. Property owner had everything available that we needed. Lake was great for swimming and kayaking. Deck was a wonderful spot to relax. Grounds were well kept. It is a property we would love to return to in the future. ”

“The cottage has a great layout for a smallish family gathering and has a great outdoor space. The waterfront is at a quiet and beautiful part of the lake with lots of wildlife and was really nice at sunset and sunrise. ”

“This was a family reunion. .The home had everything and more to accommodate 9 of us comfortably plus one doggie.Kitchen was extremely well equipped far beyond our past vrbo experiences. All the comforts of home were there.Beach toys were an added bonus especially the floating "dock". “ The unkept and neglected exterior led to a grubby interior. One of the plastic deck chairs was broken and unusable. Floors were dirty and left our socks grey; there was pink mould in the tub & shower stalls, black mould on the water level of one toilet and no one had cleaned the ceiling ventilation fans or behind the toilets in either bathroom. The beds were comfortable and the bed linens were good. There was just one hand towel. Also, insufficient furniture in the bedrooms - night……

“We were 3 friends who spent 2 nights at this location. We had a most relaxing and peaceful time. The location is not too far from the GTA and overlooks a beautiful lake.The unit was extremely well-equipped and comfortable. Joan met us when we arrived and took us through everything in the apartment, so we were well informed. The hosts were wonderful. Will definitely recommend to our friends.”
