Lovely hotel & friendly staff

The hotel room was just as we expected, we didn't buy the more expensive room as we weren't planning on spending a lot if time in the room or cooking etc, it had everything we needed for our stay and was clean and tidy. The staff were all so friendly and the food was great at both restaurants, we could have eaten here every day. The check in and out was a little confusing as we had booked the room until 4pm on the last day via email (at extra cost) but no one seemed to be able to confirm this so we checked out of the room at 12pm as suggested by front desk but was then asked why we weren't staying until 4pm. All in all great place and we hope to be back in the future.

Awesome hotel and staff!!

We had a wonderful time here! Had I known how great it was I would have booked my whole stay at Hilton! But I did spend 4 lovely days there. We upgraded our room for a small amount and had an ocean view and an extra living space. The tub was amazing and looked out over the ocean. The staff was one of the best parts too. Niko the bar tender was awesome! But so many others as well! We were a couple of single girls traveling amoungst a lot of families, but I still felt very welcome. There is an adults only pool. And many near by excursions. I highly recommend this Hotel, the Staff, and the location!

Great hotel and facilities but lacks character. This hotel could be anywhere in the world and you miss the Fiji experience. Awesome for sitting by the pool. Not so great for getting out and exploring

Nice hotel close to airport and beach.

Pros: Staff always happy and eager to help.
Cons: Servicing of rooms done while clients are at breakfast.
Location: Dined locally,which we enjoyed.
Staff excellent,but hotel looking tired. Servicing of room too late in the day at 4.30pm.Very reluctant to leave hand and face washers.

Good location, lovely staff

Rooms are cleaned daily but are a little grubby (eg heavy dust on lamp shades). Rooms serviced very late afternoon which was a little inconvenient. No hot water one morning. Food at hotel is average at best and very pricey, better choices at the marina. Staff were very lovely, lovely pools, awesome location. Overall we really enjoyed our stay but hotel could improve in some areas.

Lost without the buggies

Pros: Lay out and quiet
Cons: Nothing that I have not mentioned already to management and they have taken care of.
Location: Marina, Golf Club. Bula Park.
I had an injury before we left and was unable to walk very far. Not a problem with the golf cart pickups. Had to wait sometimes during busy times but no problem. The staff were excellent and did a lot more than expected. Any issues I had a took up with the main desk and it was dealt with immediately. Only minor maintenance. Suite with plunge pool great. Away from the noise even better. Coffee shop good value and the staff more than pleased to assist. Never had breakfast at the main restaurant as the coffee shop was ideal for us.

10 day wonderful holiday

Bula fellow travellers. Great experience and wonderful holiday staying in a one bedroom apartment. Rollaway bed for our toddler fitted next to the king size bed which allowed a seperate living area to relax once our little one went to bed. The resort is structured for both family's and couples and enjoyed the atmosphere around the social pool and activities for both kids and adults. Ice cream or cocktail prizes gets everyone involved and good fun. Great kids club with lovely friendly staff consistent across the resort. Partner also rated the spa very highly. Vinaka Fiji beach resort and spa.

Nice but lacking that 'Fiji feel'

Pros: The staff were friendly and our room was very good.
Cons: More shade over the pool areas.
Location: The Port is good and seems safe. The Hilton is close to most things.
We had a great time at the Hilton on Denarau, but the day to day costs were very expensive (food costs). Also, because the pool area was so open and exposed, it lacked that 'Fiji feel' of tropical palms and cool shaded areas. The staff were very friendly, as you'd expect in Fiji. We were there with young children outside of school holiday times and thought that maybe the loud music and the order of the kids activities were a bit 'old' for the majority of the families around the pool area most days. A great place to spend a few days before or after you've been out on one of the many island resorts.
