There are a few restaurants in the area. There was also a sign by the door to make sure it was locked at night and not to open it to anyone. The pool was closed during my stay and apparently it has been closed for a while. It’s a budget friendly location so you get what you pay for.

Casa Duro is a gem. This is truly a special place to stay with thoughtful decor and much more space than a typical hotel room. It's in a fabulous neighborhood, parking is easy, and there are a lot of places to explore within walking distance. The next time I travel to Dallas, I'll be rebooking at Casa Duro.

The staff was top notch! Anything we needed - no problem, they will assist us immediately. I had a last minute medical procedure the day before and didn’t want to cancel our anniversary staycation; they made sure our room service for Rick's Chophouse was perfect and was so kind and gracious to us and our needs. We stay every year for our anniversary, and every year they do NOT disappoint.
Room does need some touching up with the paint, but other than that, it was beautiful, warm, and cozy.
