Perfect for a romantic getaway or vacation, Fox Den offers a serene mountain setting with seasonal river views.

Inside, you will find a cozy home complete with a bedroom on main level and upstairs loft sleeping area, along with two full baths. The living area features a gas log fireplace on a timer for creating that perfect ambiance at night. Login to your Netflix or Hulu account on the Smart TV and enjoy binge watching a favorite show or movie. Fox Den offers WiFi for those that need to check email or plan a day adventure while on vacation.

The well-equipped kitchen is perfect for two to cook a quick snack or a delicious meal. A quaint dining table that seats four is just off the kitchen or dine out on the deck as you take in the views and sounds of nature.

Also on the main level is a bedroom complete with comfy king bed and a hall bath with a luxurious step in shower.

Take the stairs to the upper level and you will find another bedroom complete with queen bed and full bath with tub/shower combo just outside the bedroom. Peer out the window and take in the views that surround you at Fox Den.

Outside, you will find two decks complete with table and chairs for enjoying a morning cup of coffee or simply relaxing. Fire up the charcoal grill and prepare a scrumptious meal or gather round the fire pit and enjoy the starry night sky.

Located in the Fleetwood Falls community, you'll appreciate being just minutes from town. A short drive will place you in the heart of downtown – near dozens of fun local shops, delicious restaurants, and exciting attractions. Spend a day at Tweetsie Railroad with the kids taking in the wild west action and thrilling rides, take a leisurely drive along the Blue Ridge Parkway taking in the long-range mountain vistas, or for some winter fun, head to one of our three most popular ski resorts: Appalachian Ski Mtn, Sugar Mtn, or Beech Mtn. before taking the short trip back to your relaxing cabin.

Pets are welcomed at Fox Den with a non-refundable pet fee. So, bring Fido and enjoy a vacation together!

Thanksgiving stay
Very nice cabin, could have been a little cleaner and no dishwasher, also , some of amenities very lacking, extremely small bar soap in bathrooms, only 1 had liquid dispenser, no shampoos, etc, but overall very pleasant stay.

Poorly constructed structure. Stairs way to steep. Beds need replacement. Sofa worn out , difficult for senior adult to get out of. Leg on dinner table broken, has been poorly repaired. No TV unless you do a service like Hulu. As seniors we do not understand this so no TV for the week. No remote for the fireplace.

Peaceful retreat in the mountains
This cabin is just 15-20 minutes from Boone but is tucked away in an area that feels so much further away. It was so quiet and without the glare of city lights at night. Everything was clean and comfortable. We would definitely stay here again!

Quite weekend away
Great secluded cabin about half an hour from blowing rock. We really enjoyed our weekend here with our two dogs. The deck was our favorite part of this little A-frame. Definitely would stay here again.

We enjoyed our 2 nights at this little cabin in the woods. The porch was so nice for enjoying coffee and listening to the birds. The home was clean and comfortable. You could tell the owners have done alot of work to make the place nice. We enjoyed our time.

Comfy and convenient
Although an older property, Fox Den seems to be well maintained. Good for two couples or a small family. Pros: dog friendly, nice gas logs, large deck area, close to West Jefferson, updated main floor bath and kitchen. Cons: Upstairs bath could use updating, needs new towels, outdoor deck cushions need replacing. Overall an enjoyable stay at a reasonable price.

Central Location
Property is in a great location, it was very clean and presentable. It is within an hour of many mountain attractions. The property is thankfully pet friendly however, there is very little flat grassy area for your furry friends to handle there business. Be prepared to walk Down hill quite a way. The exterior deck was not cleaned off it would have been nice if it had been blown or swept off prior to our arrival. The place has everything you need for cooking and preparing simple meals. Only real recommendation/complaint we had was there was no Iron or Ironing board...and the King Bed on the first floor is very soft/worn out. Cell service for T-mobile was non existent once within 3-4 miles or the house so either have mobile wifi activated on you vehicle or stop where you have signal and get the door code or be prepared to drive to the food lion and connect to wifi there to call the property manager for the code to access the property.

Great Location, Nice Views
This house is perfect for a couple or two. We brought our dog and it was still quite comfortable. The only issue with this house that prevented us from giving it 5 stars is the issue with the water. On the first night, there was a horrible sulfur smell that came from all of the water locations ( sinks, shower, etc). It was so bad that we had to open up all windows and doors. The smell was so unbearable that we contacted the management company that same night- we were willing to have a plumber come out even though we were ready to get settled in. My husband, who is a home builder, recommends to have the cleaners run the hot water before the next guests are due to arrive. Overall- very cute house, wonderful location, close to West Jefferson which had very nice restaurants and breweries, and the outside views near the creek was wonderful.

Fabulous!
Super cozy with great views. Fully stocked kitchen and grill outside. We’re a family of four with a dog and had plenty of room. We booked weeks ago before knowing of the snowstorm that hit the weekend we were there. The roads were perfectly plowed the morning we left and we had no problem getting out. Great communication with the property manager. Will definitely book again!

Overall great stay. We very much enjoyed the tranquility of the property and its location. Only downside is the limited closet space especially in the downstairs bedroom. However, beds where very comfortable and the location is top notch with a great view. Easy to get to and not too high up in the mountains. Would defenitely consider staying again.

A Delightful Stay
Fox Den is a cozy and well equipped A-Frame. It is thoroughly modernized. The house has incredibly beautiful views. While tucked away on the mountainside, it is only 20 minutes to West Jefferson which is replete with restaurants, shops and things to do. We would come back again. The only note is that there is no closet on the first floor so be prepared to keep your suitcase open.

Short Getaway
The wife and I enjoyed a 4 day getaway at the Fox Den. Everything was ready for our arrival, and we lacked nothing. The cabin was clean,, and well supplied. We were able to check in early due to impeding winter weather. Great view and sounds of the South Fork of the New River. The kitchen was well stocked, just bring your own food. Plenty of appliances and utensils. We really enjoyed the newly remodeled shower. The only thing we would like to see that the cabin doesn't have, would be a hot tub. Other than that its was perfect for us. John

Snow galore
Small but cozy. Amazing view. Well equipped. We needed snow chains to get into neighborhood and up and down hill to house in the snow. We enjoyed our weekend. The cleaning could have been a bit more detailed and a little less personal items stored in laundry area. No hanging space downstairs and drawers smelled musty so we never unpacked. The pieces looked to be antique but not freshened enough to get the smell out. We did enjoy the unit.
