Inside of property was great but outside was riddled with cigarette butts everywhere, which caused an abundance of gnats. I believe it was due to a large group of guests from a wedding that was taken place at the pier, but the butts seemed to be everywhere. There was also cups of chewed tobacco on the back walkways by the pier and pool areas

This is a very nice hotel. It’s smells so nice and clean when you enter. Pretty lobby with tropical fish tanks. Front staff very welcoming and friendly. Our room was great, everything nice and clean. They have a little bar and restaurant on site. We ate there and it was very good, and the waitress was very nice. We did not swim, but there is an outdoor pool and an indoor pool with Jacuzzi. This hotel is right on the beach and they even have a pier right there. I would definitely recommend this hotel if you’re looking for a nice place in a great location close to stores and an easy hop onto the main highway that goes up and down the Outer Banks.

This fabulous hotel exceeded our expectations! Every part of the hotel was exceptionally clean, including the room, restaurant, lobby, stairwell, pool, lawns and elevator. We could not have been happier! The beach and hotel location to the beach and pier was amazing! We love the dog friendly atmosphere and how friendly the staff were towards our dogs! Steamers and Rundown restaurants within walking distance were added bonuses. Cannot wait to book our next trip here. Loved our experience and cannot say anything bad about this Hilton!

My husband and I stayed here several times before through the years, but stayed for two nights this time. The rooms had a noticeable upgrade, and the property was very clean. Every staff member we came in contact with was very friendly. We did not purchase any food or drink items while there, but there was a small restaurant/bar area available in the middle of the main floor just past the front desk. Our room was spacious enough and offered a small balcony. A small refrigerator, keurig coffee maker, a safe, ironing board/iron, and hair dryer was there to use. There was a strange odor in our bathroom the entire time which I attributed to the humidity and lack of circulating air. A small amount of black mold along the rubber seal of our shower was present; I never heard an exhaust fan while showering or even turning the light on. All in all, we enjoyed our stay.

The microwave was dirty and there were toenails on the floor when we went into our room. Restaurant wasn't great. Fire alarm went off that 90 % of the guests and 100% of the staff ignored. There was no coffee ready in the morning, and the lady at the front desk was annoyed that I even asked about it. She said the coffee machine is broken and there won't be any coffee until 7:00 am anyway. Hampton Inn is more accommodating. Not sure how Hilton Garden Inn charges more than other similar brands. In fact I've been in Spark hotels that are newer and cleaner and they include coffee and breakfast. Hilton Garden Inn isn't worth the money.

The room was very nice and comfortable . The view of the ocean was beautiful. Breakfast was great .The staff was very helpful especially Shawn . The only complaint I had was coffee or tea in the lobby was 2.00 a petty charge for a classy hotel. Any hotel we’ve stayed at that’s free

We absolutely love the property. This day was fantastic. We even got a late checkout. We got to enjoy the beach and the pool the next day. It was only an overnight trip, but it was fabulous.

We loved the hotel amenities, pool, fire pit area, deck for sitting overlooking the ocean. Easy beach access and not a crowded beach area. Umbrella and chair rentals available. The food at The Aviator Tavern was excellent. Also great location near restaurants and shopping. Short drive to Currituck Beach Lighthouse and visiting Duck was also a highlight of our trip.

I absolutely loved this hotel, mostly because of the beautiful beach break right at the back door of the hotel! We spent the whole time boogie boarding and skimboarding! The hotel is nice, restaurant is good, gym was great and the indoor hot tub was very nice! I used the laundry room and it worked great! Would definitely stay here again!
