We have stayed at this CIS at least 6 times before and never had this issue. The toilet had not been flush and there was poop in it. When I went to dry some water off the room floor the napkins came up filthy grey. The bottom sheet in the bed had a big stain on it. The grout in the bathroom floor was missing in large pieces. It was a danger to anybody with breathing issues! Since the breakfast was being served directly across from this, not a safe place to eat. In the room, the phone had no buttons & did not work. The air-conditioning did not work. The tissue box had one tissue in it and that was used to make a flower in an empty box? Since the phone didn’t work. I had to walk down to the desk to ask for tissues The elevator was awful. It had a horrible noise and banged when it went up and down. Despite the room having been cleaned, it did not feel clean. I did go for ice earlier, and it looked to me like there was a bug frozen in a cube. That was the last straw for me! I could not sleep in that room! I left and have not been reimbursed, even though I stayed a maximum of two hours instead of overnight. Most of the staff were nice, but Dereck night manager refused to allow me a refund from Expedia.
