"The property was not the standard I expect of Expedia. The heating was on a schedule such that at night the temperature in the house was around 6 degrees giving me a backache until I asked the owner to keep the temperature at a constant 23 degrees. There no toiletries provided till I asked the owner to provide them. There was only one bowl for porridge until I asked for more of the owner. "The hotel was excellent, especially considering the very reasonable price we paid. Although an old building, it was spotlessly clean. The bed was very comfortable. We also had a room with a sea view, and the hotel was 2 minutes walk from the lovely promenade. The lady that checked us in was very helpful and friendly. The hotel is also very convenient for the Channel Tunnel. Highly recommend. "

"Really enjoyable stay for our 26th wedding anniversary. Hotel has been recently completely refurbished and every surface is clean as a whistle. Super room with Nespresso coffee machine and marge brand new TV and huge bathroom Breakfast was way about average. I would call this a 5 star experince rather than 4 star."
