"I booked the hotel at the last minute, as I was travelling through the region. I pre-booked dinner and breakfast, but unfortunately I arrived past the 9 pm for dinner. "I don’t think the pictures here do the hotel justice. We spent nights on the balcony enjoying the view over the vines and valley. Staff are friendly and present. Pool is good size and more sunbeds available to use on terrace. The sunbeds could do with updating (quite uncomfortable). The small kitchen unit in the room was handy if you choose to self cater. "Entrance of the hotel was hard to find. But location was ideal, central to everything!"

"The hotel is in the middle of town where there are plenty of cafes and restaurants available, The rooms were clean and the cleaning staff did a good job maintaining the rooms throughout my stay. The staff was very nice and helpful as well. The only negative was the elevator not working throughout the 2 weeks that I was there. The sign said they were getting it repaired as soon as possible, but it didn’t happen while I was there. Thus I had to walk the 60 steps total up to my room and some of the stairs were narrow and steep. Too bad the elevator repair wasn’t taken care of in a timely manner."

"La Briosa is a quiet, clean and charming hotel in the middle of Bolzano. It’s conveniently located near the train station and the old town. The staff were lovely and Chiara at the front desk was so sweet and helpful. The room was modern and spacious with great views. The breakfast buffet was very nice and we only ate there in the mornings during our stay. We would gladly stay again!"

"Amazing oasis in the historic center of city. The mature tree canopy and hedge offers a resort feel but you are just a few blocks from the train station, cable car, upscale shopping, and incredible historical sites in the pedestrian area of the city. The pool was a perfect way to relax and refresh after a day of siteseeing or hiking. There are so many little touches that exude high quality design-- from the in-room Marshall speaker to the yoga mat to the reading material near the pool and sauna/gym area. I felt like I was at a wellness resort in a very well-run city hotel."
