Very well equipped property, honestly can’t fault it.Great communication throughout.Worth paying the add on for the hot tub then sit and watch the stars at night, then get up early for the fantastic sun rises. "We loved our stay here. Our family of 5 visited in the heat of August and made great use of the local pool and some smaller ones in surrounding villages. We loved wandering through the old passages and stairways, the town is just so full of character! Air conditioning was a godsend on a couple of hot evenings, the beds are comfortable and we all slept really well (although the endless barking of a neighbour's dog was a little irritating ). The kitchen is small and cleverly laid out with a lot stored high and accessed by steps. A cheese grater would have been welcome and pot pourri in the salad bowl was pretty but meant we couldn't actually use it. The kids were thrilled to have TV with Disney channel! There is a laundromat at Intermarché. We would have loved some guidance on waste segregation - we separated our recycling and left it, hoping for the best, but after having checked out I spotted municipal recycling, and even community compost (near the pool, actually!) which we would have gladly used. In all, I can imagine Casa Sofia would be a great place to visit anytime of year and I hope we can visit again some day."

"It was very peaceful setting to spend three days just relaxing up in the Highlands. You definitely need some form to reach the hotel and if you want to eat out in the evening the nearest restaurant was about a 1/2 mile away. It was a bit too cool to use the pool, but it sure looked inviting."
