You don't need to be a monk or a nun to appreciate the serenity of Fore Abbey. Make your way here for a glimpse into some local religious traditions and cultures.
You'll be spoiled for sightseeing choice when in Castlepollard. Fore Abbey is a great place to kick off here, but there are loads of other fine attractions to consider. Loughcrew Cairns, Tullynally Castle, and Loughcrew Adventure Centre are not far from the residence for monks and will round out your day nicely.
