"A very nice hotel but staff was late for us and we had to wait to check in for about 30 minutes with no one at the counter. We arrived at 7ish, well after check in time. This could have absolutely been an emergency that we weren’t privy to. There is one ice maker at the bottom floor for use and drinking glasses were limited in the room. We also ended up using the ironing board as a table because there were only nightstands that were attached to the bed for use. The room as a whole was fine, the bed was comfortable, enough pillows, no noise. For the most part, just a sterile feeling."

"Last minute booking and couldn't have chose a better property for downtown Portland! Despite being downtown, very quiet location with charming neighborhood, nice suite rooms and always friendly staff. One of those rare times where I felt the value for $$ spent was in my favor."

"The front desk was very friendly & informative. Although we ate somewhere else for dinner the bar part looked inviting. The whole place inside & out was very well kept , easy access parking , i felt safe leaving my car. The breakfast was good , hot & fresh. Recommend 10 out of 10"

"The onsen is very relaxing. The gym has a treadmill, elliptical machine, Stationary bicycles, free weights and a weight machine. The room is nice. Great bathroom. They have a large sake selection."

He ignored my questions, made visible faces of annoyance, and made us feel like a burden rather than paying guests. We were with kids, and his cold attitude was completely unnecessary and unprofessional. I expected much better service from this establishment."
