Great south central Winnipeg location on Pembina, wonderful staff and spacious rooms. Front desk was always friendly & helpful every day, no matter who was working when we passed by. Our toilet got clogged at one point and they got someone to come up & fix it within 10 mins.
Breakfast was mostly good & was refreshed regularly, although the breads were a bit stale and the coffee tasted what you'd expect when it's free. I was surprised that we couldn't bring food to our rooms like other hotels, but it wasn't a big deal for us.
Housekeeping's schedule is to clean every 2 days, but for our 2nd day we were still ok & decided to skip it (since we wanted to sleep in & have a lazy morning). Then on our 4th day they only appeared to have cleaned the bathroom & throw away our garbage. It would've been nice to have our beds turned over as well and get some fresh sheets, but we were checking out soon afterwards so we didn't mention it.
Plenty of parking but sometimes the peak evening hours of the bar next door means all the closest spots are taken, Only one time did we have to circle around until a spot was available, which wasn't a long wait.
We would definitely stay here again!
