I booked the room with a jacuzzi for a weekend "stay-cation". The room was very dated with many worn spots in the drapery allowing light through. The smell of cigarette smoke wafted through every hour or so - maybe the vents had issues? The jacuzzi seemed cleaned but it was very dated, with poorly patched areas on the walls above and around it - I did not use it at all... the room overall just made me feel gross. The bed was comfortable and the linen appeared clean, however, the cleaning staff came in while I was out for the day and when I got back the bed was made with the exact same linen. I was told they should be washing the linen and putting in fresh linen but I knew this wasn't done because there was a small drop of blood on the sheet - I had cut my ankle while shaving - and it was still there as they had only just tried to wipe it off. I thought this was a higher end hotel but it absolutely is not. It reminded me of an old Motel with a few unkept bells and whistles. Clean,! Only issue they have Roku, and other tv stations not familiar with. Wish they had TSN3 , Sportnet, etc local stuff. Had to watch the Jets on small tv in lobby.... but they were verey accommodating. The mattress seemed low quality- I could feel the springs, which made it uncomfortable to sleep. There was also a strong odor in both the lobby and my room when I arrived, so I had to air the room out.
