There was no phone in the room. The ice machines were not working so the note on the machine said “call front desk for ice” but I couldn’t. When I went down to the front desk I had to wait in line and then the girl acted like it was inconvenient for her to get the ice for me. There was moldy smell in the room but I’m sure that’s because it’s old. Hate that it was a bad experience cause we come often to see our kids and grandkids. We did let the front desk know that there was no phone in the room.

The staff was friendly and helpful and the hotel was quiet, clean, and everything we needed for our two night stay. Slightly bummed the hot tub wasn’t working but the pool was a hit with the kids and the air conditioning worked perfectly. Kept the room cool enough for me to sleep cozily and the kids to say I was giving them frostbite! 10/10 would absolutely stay again next time we’re in Fort Smith.

Wonderful Hotel. Very comfortable bed. Very quiet Even though there were other people in rooms near me, you could not hear them. My only suggestions would be please have decaf coffee, and some fruit for breakfast. Otherwise, the breakfast was outstanding.

The Arc is a very nice hotel in Ft Smith. It is centrally located and has nice rooms. Parking is easy and convenient. I’ve stayed here many times and have always been pleased with it.

I give this the 3 D rating! Damp, Dark, Dated! The hotel is an old Holiday Inn Express that changed names. The outside was well kept, fine, close to airport, food, fuel, shopping, etc. with easy in and out access. The inside walking in was fine and actually smelt nice. The hallways were dark the further down you went, the room was dark, the carpet and decor dated, the air conditioner smelt like my 1979s grandmother's house that has been closed up for years, and it felt like I was wearing the air. It was damp feeling. The sheets were damp feeling, the carpet was damp feeling (I kept my shoes or crocs on all but one time I forgot). The bed was comfortable, pillows were fine, but it just smelled old, it felt damp, I had 2 towels for my 3 day stay and asked for more but it took several hours and several attempts to get some, I didn't feel like my door securely shut, and there were dust/cobwebs in the bathroom ceiling area. It was packed I will say that. Lots of people were there so they too apparently booked for the price. It wasn't horrible but it wasn't great and I won't be going back. Breakfast was standard but the pancake maker was broken and all the ice machines were broken. No complaints on the staff. They all seemed fine and friendly. I would suggest better lighting and the air units checked out for musty smells.

I rarely rate hotels on here, but the Arc was a very pleasant surprise. The room was clean and up to date. The bed was comfortable and the staff were very kind and accommodating. I travel a lot and stay at hotels a lot. I’d gladly come back here my next time I’m in Ft Smith
