The resort location was great for our trip to Glacier. The rooms worked out really well for us. The front desk staff was super helpful and the restaurant staff was friendly. We would recommend the resort to anyone visiting the area.

Even a short stay at The Cottages at Bigfork feels like a restful vacation.Imagine yourself wrapped in a soft hotel bathrobe, seated on the riverside porch of your adorable bungalow. Listen to the gurgling of the cool river water as it rushes by - optionally, stream your favorite music through the cabin's quality Bluetooth speaker - while birds chirp and frisky black squirrels chatter from the surrounding trees. When evening coolness brings you indoors, stretch out on a leather couch in front of the cozy fireplace. Sip some quality wine or coffee gifts from the management. When you are ready, slip between the cool cotton sheets and snuggle into the soft comforter of your luxurious bed. Lights out, campers! We found everything we needed for a three-day getaway either in the well-appointed cabin or by taking a pleasant stroll to downtown Bigfork restaurants, shops, playhouse, and art galleries. I don't need to mention cleanliness because a quality retreat like The Cottages does everything right to the next degree. Tiny details are their forte'. Custom scented toiletries, a coin tray holding a chocolate treat, plus a thoughtful lavender-scented pillow spray at bedside are typical here, but rare elsewhere. We'll be back!

Great location and the staff was friendly. Rooms are nice and comfortable beds. Nice snack options provided for the rooms. There are breakfast options, but not an extensive menu. Coffee was great! I'd recommend Huck's place for a breakfast option with a more extensive menu. It's a less than 5 minute drive away. Good hotel option for those going to visit Glacier National Park.

Extremely expensive during summer season! No shuttle service to meet Amtrak, which arrives Six Minutes after 10pm. Shuttle service ends at 10pm & must have 24hr notice. I’m always stranded at the train station!
