Excellent suite and well-provisioned. The downside is that nearby a/c or refrigeration units are loud; it was not the idyllic and peaceful lakeside retreat we had hoped for.

We loved our stay at The Cottages! Having travelled extensively, these cottages were above and beyond in character, comfort, amenities. Everything was carefully thought out from the matching decor to interesting books, even a game. The beds were comfy and the bathroom facilities luxurious. As it was chilly in early September we used the fireplace and the heating in the bathroom, which was very effective. The local bakery and selected restaurants and shops were in walking distance. Our cottage was surrounded by a lovely garden and even a local deer came to visit.
