Top Freeman Hotel Reviews

Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Emporia, VA

10/10 Excellent

"Quiet and comfortable."

Relax Inn

8/10 Good

"This is an older "Motorlodge" type motel. I like that you can park right outside your room and keep an eye on your car. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. The tub had some rust around the drain but was clean (the water was HOT!). The gentleman at the desk was helpful and friendly. The only downside was that, like a lot of hotels, the walls are thin and noise comes right through them. The guy next door to me had the TV on and you could hear it in my room, outside his room through the door, even though the building itself is brick. And when his alarm went off at 4:30am I thought it was in my room! I even looked outside to see if the noise was coming from the parking lot. And he didn't wake up and shut it off until I started banging on the wall! The motel is right off I-95. That end of Emporia doesn't have the amenities of the other exits on the north side, but the area is building up near the interstate. I will stay here again when I travel through the area."

Studios and Suites 4 Less Emporia

8/10 Good

"To be cheap it was a great stay. We were a little nervous about it but it was the only thing available when we booked. But I was pleasantly surprised and impressed! It was so clean inside the room and was very quiet outside throughout the night. The beds were a little uncomfortable and the pillows were terrible but otherwise we had a great stay"

Amazing Lakefront View, Firepit, Flat Yard, Kayak, Dock Swing, Sunsets

10/10 Excellent

"We are a group of 4 senior citizens and this place was perfect for us. We stayed here last year also and we love the lake views and the feeling of being outside when you’re inside. We enjoyed the large deck and the quietness."

Lake Gaston A Frame- Private Beach & dock

10/10 Excellent

"We had a fantastic time and the A frame was exactly what we’d hoped for! Two sisters and their mom easily slept in the two king beds in the two masters. The upstairs loft had 4 twins, which would have been great had we not wanted to share a bed. We did get excited about having 2 kayaks and 2 paddleboards to use, but we only saw 2 kayaks and 1 paddleboard. They were a bit affected by nature so we didn’t end up taking them out because we didn’t have the means to clean them up/only one of us kayaks. However!! We did enjoy sitting with our feet in the water, the views were stunning, and we’d come back again! It had everything we needed, was clean, and cozy! Definitely worth checking out!"

Lake Daze | Dock+Games+FirePit+Kayaks+Flat Lot

10/10 Excellent

"I cannot say enough about how amazing this home is! Every detail was so well thought of. The house was the absolute CLEANEST we have ever rented in the last 20 yrs. The host was great to work with and answered all of my questions super quick! I look forward to making more memories here! I would give it more stars if I could as I’ve not ever rented a house that checked all of my boxes, until this one!"
