8.2/10 Very Good! (484 reviews)
We booked this hotel for an overnight stay and quick visit to the Lake. Overall the hotel was okay but our first impression was a little discouraging, as it was located a little farther away than anticipated, perhaps that's our mistake. Don't be fooled by the local area and initial look of the hotel. The spa facilities were closed during our stay and the outdoor pool was perfectly fine. The rooms were clean and tidy, but the decoration was a little odd in places, though nothing to be concerned about. When we arrived a nice lady checked us in but was on her own, so we had to wait for a while whilst she single-handedly managed the property. Perfect for a overnight stay but perhaps not for a long stay.

9.2/10 Wonderful! (383 reviews)
Nowhere to properly hang clothes or put belongings. Could not unpack properly. Poor lighting in room and bathroom. Unsuitable stool for bedside. Room exposed to blinding full sun in morning and no privacy until blinds automatically came down later. Had to ask for second chair and more pillows. Room floor and surfaces not cleaned. Mugs left dirty. Same limited breakfast 3 days Running. Very Limited cafe menu. Very slippy shower tray and no handrail. Ridiculously heavy fire doors and closers too powerful to manage especially when moving luggage . Considerable strength needed to open and hold door and we had to open 2 to get into room. Would never manage to get out in an emergency. Positive points: Excellent staff, especially male receptionist on arrival. He was fantastic.Good bed. Very secure garage and easy access to lift.Availability of trolleys. Quiet a/c. Good location for transport.

8.4/10 Very Good! (120 reviews)
Excellent location. Within short walking distance from train station and bus lines, for those who want to explore Lake Annecy with public transportation. Equally close to Tourist Info Office, Historic Annecy area, and the north end of Lake Annecy, including most touristic sights, excellent restaurants, and boats to explore Lake. Breakfast buffet had go I d options, but the Hotel itself does not deserve 4 stars. Much more modest. We asked for the mini fridge in the room to be fixed 2x. We were told by two separate hotel staff members that muni fridges aren't supposed to get cold. Really? A minor inconvenience.
