The Inn is cozy and comfortable. The Victorian house is beautiful inside and out. The owner/ host is very interesting and helpful and has an adorable dog that at times meets you at the door with tail wagging. The bed was comfortable. We really liked the antique furnishings.

Easy access from the highway and easy parking. Very attentive innkeeper who addressed my concerns. Property could use some updating & additions-for example you can hear other guests in their rooms so a white noise machine would be a nice touch. I love old properties with character but a room can feel disjointed/incoherent if the vintage furniture is mixed with modern and the blinds, carpeting, etc haven't been updated. Also, like every other property, hotel or otherwise, the bathroom vents could use a deep clean/dusting.

One thing I love about this inn that is not a compliment I am ever able to give hotels is that the bathtubs are wonderful. I've stayed at a hotel with a cracked fiberglass shell, another with a tub bottom that felt like I was going to break through. The tubs at the inn are a lovely SOLID cast iron. (And the hot water is HOT!)

My husband and I had been traveling for 3 days. We hadn't slept in that time either. I found this B&B and booked the room. Once we got there we went to the room which was the Loft of the house. The room was unbelievably large with our own private bathroom. As soon as we sat on the bed we both passed out. This B&B was so quiet and peaceful that it was the best sleep we have had in months. So glad we found it. We plan on going back many more times because it will be our next favorite hideaway. This place is incredible 😊
