“The hotel has recently been refurbished but still has the ‘old’ side which you can select the room for stay if you are interested in this historic experience. Those rooms will be available for cheaper prices as well. I chose to stay at the ‘newer’ side for my accommodation this time as they are usually more comfortable for a good night sleep. I was correct and the room looks amazing and spacious too! What a wonderful refurbishment with great designs. Staff were also very helpful and friendly……

“I have stayed in the garden suite of The Black Horse Inn for two weeks from the end of October to the first week of November. First impression of the bed and breakfast was a very warm and welcoming staff. The room itself was excellent and exceeded my expectations by miles, very clean room with just about every item for one's stay to be more than comfortable. Sadly I never had the chance of enoughing breakfast at the Black Horse Inn as I woke up relatively late, and do be warned that the service……

“We arrived at 8.15pm and were worried we were too late to eat, bu we received a very warm welcome from a lovely young lady with long blonde hair, who told us that despite our lateness, we could check in before eating. We decided to eat straight away. The food was delicious. I had ham and leek pie with buttery mash and cabbage and my husband had ham hock, egg and hash brown chips. Our room COX was above the bar.
