Large Private Cabin 3 Min to Town Hot Tub- Pool Table @Great Smoky Mountains NP

We have an active bear trail that leads right into the National Park. Bears wander around the property regularly! Remember bear safety. Do not feed or harass the bears.

Whispering Canyon is THE ideal cabin where you will enjoy the best of the Smokies; a relaxing log cabin experience nestled in the trees right in the heart of Gatlinburg. The cabin is a very short 3 minute drive into downtown Gatlinburg, 3 minutes to Ober Gatlinburg for year round outdoor play, 5 minutes to the National Park entrance and only 10-15 min to Pigeon Forge, with no scary roads and easy access to the many, many local attractions. It's also privately tucked into the canyon with no nearby neighbors, giving you that traditional cabin in the woods vacation.

Whispering Canyon, located off Ski Mountain Rd in Gatlinburg, is a beautiful and comfortable cabin perfect for gatherings of friends and family. Everyone will find space to spread out, relax and rejuvenate. All 3 large bedrooms have access to one of 3 full length decks. All 3 decks come with multiple rocking chairs to enjoy your morning cup of coffee or your evening glass of wine (or shine). The pool table is ready for friendly competition. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need to prepare any meal. Roku enabled Smart TVs allow you to access your own streaming subscriptions from 6 different rooms throughout the cabin. When you are ready, Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, Dollywood, and all local attractions are just a few minutes away. And you can't get much closer to the main entrance to Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Staying at Whispering Canyon will allow you to bypass the majority of traffic going into the park.
Bears do visit the cabin on a regular basis. There is an active bear trail from our driveway! Please supervise children outside, keep car doors locked and cabin doors shut at all times. Do not leave food in your car or outside. All trash must be placed in the bear bins.

Main Level - Walking in the front door, you will enter the great room with fully equipped kitchen, dining room with seating for 10, living room, King bedroom and full bathroom with jetted tub and separate shower. Access the full length deck with gas BBQ and patio table from the living room and the bedroom.
Upper Level - Walk upstairs and you will find the second King bedroom with full bathroom. Cross the catwalk to the loft with comfortable seating, Smart TV, board game table and Queen sleeper sofa. This is a perfect quiet spot for reading, playing a game, or getting some work done. The full length deck can be accessed by both the loft and the bedroom.
Lower Level - Travel downstairs to find another whole floor. Here you will find a large multi-use recreation room with sectional sofa in front of a 65 inch Smart TV, a pool table, and pub table w/ stools. The 3rd bedroom is next to the rec room, with a set of twin over full bunk beds, a separate full bed and an attached full bathroom with tub/shower combo. Access to the deck with hot tub is found in the bedroom and rec room. A half bath and laundry room with stacked washer and dryer are downstairs as well.
Whispering Canyon has good cell strength and free strong wi-fi. All TVs are streaming capable, allowing you to log in to all your favorite streaming apps.

For your convenience, we provide a small supply of coffee pods, paper towels, toilet paper, sponge and dish soap, shampoo and conditioner, body wash, and laundry soap.

Please note:
Whispering Canyon has a winding, moderately steep driveway with level parking for up to 4 cars. Driveway conditions can be slippery or icy. 4-wheel drive is recommended in winter or snowy seasons.

Feels secluded and is very quiet but you’re so close to all the action that our teenagers crave-Close to hiking trails, Dollywood. One of the cleanest properties I’ve ever stayed in! The hosts were quick to respond to any messages I sent and always followed up. Will be back!

Great place for a family vacay
We had three generations staying at Whispering Canyon. We grandparents stayed on the main level, our daughter and SIL on the upper level and our two teenage grandkids on the lower level. We appreciated the ability to have our own space while still being together. The home was so beautiful and clean. We appreciated the many amenities especially the whirlpool tubs, hot tub, billiard table. We didn’t make use of the many books, games and dvd’s or the bbq grill because we were on the go but appreciated the thoughtfulness of their availability. We didn’t see any bears during the 6 days we were there but we took the warnings about food seriously. Erin reached out to us after arrival to see if everything was to our satisfaction and was very gracious in accommodating a special request. I would certainly recommend this place to anyone especially family groups.

Our family absolutely loved this cabin! It was so convenient to downtown Gatlinburg and all of the surrounding activities. The layout of the cabin is perfect for a small family like ours or a large group. The hot tub and the pool table were a huge hit with the kids! We definitely hope to come back in the future!

Great Secluded Cabin Right Next Door To Gatlinburg
Our family of 7 had a great time here. Everything was just like the listing said. Very clean and up to date cabin plenty of space for everyone. We grilled out on the balcony, relaxed in the hot tub, played a lot of pool, and sat by the fireplace. Gatlinburg is less than a 5 minute drive but the cabin feels like you’re in the woods far up a mountain. Great place to stay would definitely recommend.

Secluded Smoky Mountain Getaway

Beautiful stay in the Smokies.
This cabin is beautiful. Close enough to everything, but with plenty of privacy. The cabin was well equipped with everything we needed and the setting with all the fall leaves was amazing. Stayed in numerous VRBO rentals prior and this rental was by far our favorite. Very clean, very comfortable, and very inviting.

Peaceful and inviting!
We loved every minute of our stay in this beautiful, spacious cabin. Everything was clean, and the decor was tasteful and authentic. We had everything we needed to cook and prepare food. The three porches are huge, and all have a view of the woods, some with rockers, some with sofas. We enjoyed peaceful evenings in front of the propane fire table. Gatlinburg and the national park are both within a few miles. We hoped to see a bear, but maybe next time!

This was the cleanest, best stocked, cabin we have ever stayed in, and we have stayed in several! The owners were very attentive and great to deal with. We had the best time at Whispering Canyon cabin. It's just beatiful! We enjoyed the game room and jacuzzi a lot. Lots of beds and bathrooms to get ready in. Rob and Erin are awesome hosts who get back to you right away. They've thought of everything....even hangers in the closet. The best part of the stay was watching the bears from all the decks. Everyone agreed this was the best vacation ever.

This property was the cleanest VRBO I’ve ever stayed at. There is so much to do at the house we wished we didn’t have such a packed itinerary for the trip. The cabin is out of this world wonderful! Take note of the bear warning! As while my parents were loading their car going in and out. They left the door open. Walking back out to the bear in thier car. Later our teen son left our car unlocked. No food inside the car and walked to the bear inside again. Will say bear just walked away when told. It was an amazing experience to watch her scratch and play from the porch in the back. She was there every morning between 9-10 am. The cabin is well stocked. It's very clean. My parents were very pleased as my mother has lupus and can't be in the sun much. This cabin has shade everywhere and she was able to enjoy being outside for the first time in a long time during the day! She forgot her shampoo and hasn't stopped raving about the shampoo at the cabin since leaving. Begging to find out what it was in fact. We already are looking at dates to book again. We will be back often as long as they have us! :)

This cabin was amazing! My husband and I along with his brother and sister in law brought our special need nephew for a trip to Dollywood. He was so excited when he seen the cabin, especially the game room. Our trip to Gatlinburg was a success, we even got to see a momma bear and 3 cubs at the cabin. I highly recommend this cabin!

Great cabin with great location
We had a wonderful stay at the cabin. Its location was so close to the entrance to GSMNP, it made it super easy to visit. It is very spacious and all the bedrooms were well-appointed. We even had a mama bear and 2 cubs walk right up to the cabin while we were eating dinner one night. I would definitely recommend this cabin to anyone wanting to visit the area.

The cabin was awesome, especially cleanliness and layout! The driveway was a little intimidating at first, but that's expected with renting a cabin in the mountains. To be able to feel seclusion, but yet only a 5 minute drive to town, was really great. Would definitely recommend!
