General Burnside State Park Vacations from $466

Clean room, air conditioning worked great in the high heat and humidity. Didn't use pool. Plenty of parking. Easy access to interstate. It was very quiet at night. I felt safe traveling alone in that area. Spent two nights here to attend a wedding. The breakfast was disappointing. It still had 1 hour left but the waffle mix was empty, there were only 3 pieces of bacon, only a spoonful of scrambled eggs, and other items looked picked over.

Would be top rate except Wi-Fi was not available throughout my stay. The front desk person was aware and said it had been problematic recently. Really, Wi-Fi is a basic function of the hotel. To not have it at all was a big downer for me about my stay. Love the decor and feel of the hotel. Great location also in Frankfort.

Beautiful historic property run by two artists who are great hosts. Conveniently located to many Bourbon Trail stops. The master’s suite with the whirlpool tub is incredible.

The room was clean and cool on a very hot weekend. Staff was great in every way. Had Saturday morning brunch which was delicious and bountiful. You get a special feeling staying in a place that dates to 1815. Next time I'm in Frankfort overnight, it will be the Ashbrook!
