The Wheelhouse Guesthouse on Water Street welcomes visitors to their historic property in Georgetown, Prince Edward Island.
Located directly across from the Wheelhouse Restaurant, this 140 year-old, 3 bedroom 3 bath property has been recently renovated to combine the beauty of a modern interior design with the warmth of a heritage home. It's location feet from the beginning of the Confederation Trail allows for the perfect opportunity to walk, hike, or cycle at a moment's notice.

This seaside retreat has something for everyone! Stay and relax in the six-person hot tub or explore Georgetown and all it has to offer.
In addition to the oceanfront restaurant at your doorstep, the Confederation Trail, Maroon Pig Bakery, Shoreline Design Artisanal Shops, Tranquility Cove Adventures, Memorial Gardens, and the historic Georgetown Playhouse await your arrival; all within walking distance of the Guesthouse.

Beautiful home, lovely views of the water, and fantastic restaurant across the street! Overall, we really enjoyed our visit. If I could suggest a few things to make our stay slightly better it would be more curtains/blackout curtains, a showerhead that can be adjusted to avoid water spraying out of the bottom of the door, better pillows, and a few extra household items (e.g. hand soap and sponge in kitchen).Thank you again for hosting us in your lovely Georgetown! We enjoyed the area and hope to visit again someday!

Très belle demeure, propre, bien équipé. Beau petit coin avec cachet charmant, près de la mer., quartier bien mis en valeur.Belles chambres, bien aménagées.Point dérangeant par contre, l’usine à côté tres bruyante la nuit. En mettant l’air climatisé aussi en haut, on pourrait fermer les fenêtres et on entendrait moins le bruit dehors. Aussi, des toiles opaques aux fenêtres de chambre serait un atout.

We stayed at this wonderful home which exceeded our expectations. We enjoyed having a restaurant across the street, strolling along the walkway, ocean view and relaxation in the hot tub. The owner was a great communicator and this place had lots of room with great cleanliness. I highly recommend this place to stay and hope to return to experience more great PEI hospitality.

A great property for 6 to 8 people! Super clean, a very cool floor and spiral staircase on the main level, beautiful views, timely communication with hosts and the hot tub is a lovely treat at the end of a busy day. Having 3 bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms is amazing and so convenient! We had everything we needed here from towels to a fully stocked kitchen. We did bring an air mattress rather than using the fold out couch, but thay was just our personal preference. If you like to sleep with more than one pillow, you may want to bring extras but again, that's just personal preference. We were very pleased with this location and would definitely return!

Lovely!

We had a fantastic stay here with enough space for our group of 7. It was a lovely little town to be our home base while we explored the island. The front patio of the house has perfect sunset views, and the restaurant across the street is an added bonus!

The house is beautiful. The bedrooms are very nice, all with their own showers. The location is great. Water views and directly across from a picturesque restaurant and beach access. The house lacked a few kitchen items but the host was quick to get us what was needed. Two showers doors were broken and once reported, they were addressed right away. The hot tub was great, but could use a scrub. I would definitely stay here again.

Superbe endroit, très propre mais l’air conditionné est seulement à l’étage. Le deuxième étage où sont les lits n’a pas de climatisation et les fenêtres n’ont pas de moustiquaires. Très chaud donc au deuxième étage. L’endroit indique qu’on peut couché 8 personnes, c’est vrai en considérant le divan lit mais aucun drap et oreiller supplémentaire pour ce lit. Sinon endroit bien situé devant un très bon restaurant et devant l’océan et le spa était super.

It was a lovely place, the view was great and the restaurant across the street was amazing. My only issue was the trucks on the first day that were unloading the docked ship, they ran until about 10:30pm continually. That being said I would stay again, it was a great time.

Nice house, very noisy location

Very nicely decorated, but:1. Right next to a mussel processing factory with generators running constantly all night making it very difficult to sleep.2. Poor blinds letting in too much light and giving little privacy for ground floor bedroom.3. Second floor bedrooms need a dedicated heat pump to cool bedrooms during hot weather (day we arrived it was over 30 celsius).4. Patio door lock was not secure.

Our second stay at this lovely spot. We were are group of 5 celebrating 2 65th birthdays. Hosts were the best, house was very clean and hot tub was wonderful. Absolutely love the floors! We will definitely go back again!

Cute little cottage in quaint area on the water.

Overall it is a cute cottage. Best suited for 5 people unless you don’t mind sleeping on a pullout couch. Kitchen needs more supplies (ie. teaspoons, flipper, paring knifes, carrot peeler, tea towels, dish clothes, hand toweks). No Kleenex or pot scrubbers. No hand soap in upstairs bathroom. Dishwasher broken and came out the hole and almost injured a lady.
