"I cannot but say wow! The location, accessibility, cleanliness and above all, the friendliness is superb. I actually had an issue the night before checking out where I forgot my Passport in the uber drive. The reception stayed up all night and helped me for over three hours till the issue was resolved. The facilities are perfect and the staff is absolutely off the charts! I’d recommend staying there to everyone!"

"Everything was great but when I was checking in, I was told that if I request a late check out of 1pm, they will do a courtesy approval, but when i requested, they charged me a fee. Not that big of a deal, but it is an annoyance."

"High quality hotel with welcoming and friendly staff. Great location in Old Town close to everything. Ayinger beer on tap and from the barrel was amazing. Unique place to stay in the heart of historic Old Town. Room was elegant, clean, quiet and comfortable. I had their breakfast on my last day and it was well presented and had many options. The team staffing the breakfast was charming and attentive. Thank you Platzl staff for a great stay in Munich!"

"We had 2 rooms here for 2 nights during Oktoberfest and this hotel was within perfect walking distance. It's also a nice walking distance from the famous Marienplatz with lots of shopping and food. This hotel is on a very busy street with a lot of activity all hours of the day although it did not bother us. (Reminder that our stay was also during Oktoberfest, so it may not always be that busy.) The hotel staff was friendly and helpful, there was a nice variety for breakfast, the room was clean and comfortable. There is a parking garage close, which worked well. The rooms we were in both had all single beds, which was perfect for our mixed group. Overall, it worked well for us and I would stay here again."
