Great room very clean...very convenient position.

We liked the guest house inside, our room was spacious and the beds were a good size, although the bathroom was small. The staff were very friendly and helpful and check in and check out was really easy. We didn’t love the location, we had booked a ‘sea view’ room, but you could only see the sea from the balcony, our room was overlooking the side street and it looked out onto a derelict building plot which was messy and dirty. It was a convenient location and you could reach the harbour really easily, so very quick to pop in and out. We were only here for 2 nights at the end of our trip as we spent most of it on Gozo and we wanted to see a bit of Malta before we left, I think in hindsight one night here would have been enough, it would be easy to see this area and fit in a boat trip etc in one day.

The property was quaint and interesting, loved the overall ambience. Rooms were clean and comfortable but we arrived late and had no water. This was eventually sorted in the morning. Modern bathroom with glass window which we, as older people, find offers no privacy!The breakfast was buffet but a bit unorganized. No attention to detail in cleanliness, which was sad because it had really potential to be better.

The rooms were spacious and nice inside. The breakfast was great, and the access to the pool lounge Aqualuna was lovely. Enjoyed the welcome reception on the roof of The Strand Hotel (where we had to check in and out). The elevator stopped working after I checked in. Even before the elevator stopped working, it was sketchy and in bad shape in how it operated. The lobby/stairwell of this small adjacent set of rooms smelled terrible. It would help greatly if the owners would invest in a new elevator for these set of rooms. I would not stay here again in its present condition.
