"I was skeptical of this place being one of the cheapest places to stay, but I was not unimpressed. It’s an old building and they give you a key that you check in and out as you come and go if the day. It’s actually pretty smart. Upon checking in, the guy at the desk was very helpful and friendly and gave a few suggestions of places to walk to nearby and that was very helpful. The room was clean, the staff were friendly, and they cook you a breakfast each morning! They made me a full Scottish breakfast! This is a diamond in the rough and is close to The Kelvingrove museum and University! I give it like a 4.7 out of 5."

"Stayed as a lone woman with my young child. Hotel felt very safe. There is a 24hour reception service and the hotel entrance is locked with key card entry after a certain time. The lift access to the rooms also requires key card access. The location was brilliant. Mainline trains, Subway, busses and loads of kid friendly restaurants within a few minutes walk. There is a supermarket for essentials across the road. The room was very clean and kitchen suited our needs perfectly. TV had kids channels and a little desk which was adopted as a drawing station. We opted to have the hotel breakfast. Good selection of healthy and treat items for both adults and kids. Only downside was there were no bed guards available. I also don’t think it was clear that the rooms aren’t cleaned daily as standard. This wasn’t an issue for us. I’m happier that nobody else is accessing our room. You could however pay l extra for the room to be cleaned etc. Over all very happy and would stay there again "

"Brilliant location, room view over river clyde and bridge. Right in centre but quiet. Discounted car park 3 mins away. Easy to get and out of the city. Rooms were spacious, high quality and comfy. No fridge but has a safe. Highly recommended. "
