"We had a great time at Aalma da Ria. It’s about 10 minutes from Aveiro with the car. There is a main house, with kitchen and common spaces, and then there are the lodges. Ours had 2 sleeping rooms, bathroom, and a small pantry with microwave and coffee machine. The houses are within a green area that includes a pool.
Mariana was so nice and helpful. Everyday she prepared us a huge breakfast she was so nice and attentive.
Highly recommended."

Staff were very helpful, the hotel was a wonderful surprise. Al the amenities were an incredible touch. The room was very modern, never been to a hotel that had such incredible modern features.
The restaurant was delicious, the waiter went beyond his duties to make us feel special.
We were doing the Camino of Santiago and after completing it, rented a car in Porto and found this great town and best hotel.

Great location, close to everything, I walked everywhere including to the train station every day to do day trips. It's right next to a lovely museum and restaurants everywhere. Lovely small town. Hotel was cool, old school, staff lovely and helpful and speak English. Horacio at the front desk went above and beyond to help me and make sure my stay was a pleasant one. I stayed for 6 nights and I will gladly stay here again if ever I'm back in Aveiro 😁

We loved this lovingly restored old mercantile/home before we even walked in the door. The owner maintained all the original beauty and characteristics. He even arranged for a local restaurant to make the one meal we love and hadn’t been able to find. Breakfast was absolutely lovely surrounded by so much history.

Great staff and service. Very centrally located. Quiet and safe. Strongly recommend. Right now there is major construction happening across the street in a park which limits parking accessibility, but there was no noise impact while we stayed at the hotel.
