Gongju Vacation Packages
Seoul, South Korean's capital, is situated roughly 80 miles (129 kilometers) to the north of Gongju.
Gongju isn't the only spot in this intriguing region worth experiencing; intrepid travelers should hit the road and discover the magic of the surrounding scenery, towns and cities. Yon-dong, 19 miles (31 kilometers) to the west, and Cheongju, 25 miles (40 kilometers) to the southwest of Gongju are also worth checking out.
About 16 miles (26 kilometers) to the southeast of Gongju is Daejeon, a regional city where you go see Expo Park, Daejeon World Cup Stadium (Purple Arena) and Daejeon Space Observatory. Make sure you don't return to Gongju until you've spent a little time at Daejeon's Deogyu-san National Park, National Science Museum and Natural History Museum.
Ask those who live in the area what they recommend seeing around Gongju, they'll often point you in the direction of South Chungcheong's fascinating open-air exhibits. If the weather makes you want to head indoors, plan to spend some of your time in South Chungcheong's craft workshops and history museums.
No vacation is really complete without a little down time. Wildlife watching is one of the activities they do to relax here and sunbathing is another.
Sadly, vacations can't last forever, so when it's time return home, head to the nearest major airport in Cheongju, 30 miles (48 kilometers) to the northeast.
