Clean room very quiet

I had a wonderful stay during my time in Williamsburg, Va. The staff was very welcoming and accommodating with my early arrival. The room was just what we needed for the weekend.

We had to change rooms: Light didn't work, Bathroom was dirty, room phone didn't work. The decor and condition looked very worn and needed a complete refurbishment. There was only a minimal place to eat that did not provide lunch and didn't open until 4:00PM. We arrived early from our flight and asked about our room and we were told it was not ready. I asked to be put on a list for early access and was told they would try, two hours later I went to the desk and asked about our room and was told "Oh sorry, yes it's ready and that been the saga of having to change rooms etc.

The room was beautiful and very clean. All staff have been so helpful & accommodating. Would definitely stay here again. The only con is the parking. You have to valet because the lot is so tiny.
