“This cottage was a nice, quiet respite to come back to after a long day of visiting family and towns nearby. It provided everything I needed, and the bed was super comfy! It is close to shops and restaurants by the lake. Book this place!!!”

“I echo all the 10/10 reviews. We too brought our e-bikes and took several wonderful rides around old Mandeville. The bike trails are the best I’ve ridden. Lake Pontchartrain shoreline is a short stroll away, and there are many nearby eateries and watering holes to experience. The cottage is awesome. The photos in the listing don’t do it justice. It was perfect for our stay.”

“Charming little cottage, loved the property. It is very serene and quiet. The kitchen had several small appliances which made cooking easy. Close to town but very private and peaceful setting. Would definitely return. ”

“Creek is moving water so hardley any mosquito. Coldest creek in LA perfect for toddlers to play in the shallow water. Lots of small fish for kids to catch. The house has the essential for cooking pots pans etc. Because your 20mins from a McDonalds dont believe google when it says 10 mile. We came to LA to see family in the area. Would come back to this place when we come back to LA. ”

“I was in town visiting family and needed a comfortable place to stay—and this sweet cottage on the horse farm was absolutely perfect. It was just a 20-minute drive to Covington, making it super convenient, yet peaceful and private. The cottage was spotless, thoughtfully appointed, and felt incredibly safe and welcoming. The bed and bedding were so cozy, I slept like a dream.Jamie, Angie, and Nick were warm and kind hosts. I even brought my young niece to visit the horses and donkeys, which was……

“I originally booked this home due to its close proximity to family. I was pleasantly surprised with whole property. Firstly, the home is adorable. It was very clean and it literally had everything you could possibly need. The back porch was our favorite part. We sat outside, drank our morning coffee and watched the wildlife. In the evening, we had a glass of wine and enjoyed listening to the sounds of "country living". We will definitely rebook when we come back to visit family. ”
