“We were excited about our stay at Rice Lake! But the house had a few problems and it made our stay less enjoyable. The small A/C unit is located in the living room area and not in the bedrooms. So every night was hot, and unable to cool the rooms properly. Second problem was the washer failed on the 2nd day of our stay and the owners did not fix the problem. They sent out someone to tell us they're working on purchasing a new washer but this forced us to go to the another laundry. It also……

“The cottage was very nice and fully stocked. It was perfect with young kids. The outside lawn between the 2 large maples is where we spent so much of our time playing games and running around. “The property is in a beautiful location, peaceful, but the Neighbours are not happy to see different people going for a walking. They may following you asking what are looking for it. Very weird. The house is spacious and has plenty of room. It’s old and need some updates. The washrooms and floors should be better cleaned. Hot tub was clean and warm, it was very nice to relax. Pool table was fun to play as well. Overall it was a great stay. ”

“Our host, Ioana was very accommodating and available by text to answer any questions both before and during the rental period. Because of our larger family (5 people plus our dog) we actually switched to the 5 bedroom cottage and paid the difference. The property is beautiful, very quiet at the end of the cul-de-sac.
