“Room was great. Garden area was great. Check in and check out was very smooth. Our only issue was that our wifi in the room didn’t work at all.”

“What a cool spot, lots of things to do around the property or just relax by the pool and sauna. This would be a fun spot for couples, great vibe and easy to be romantic, assuming you like to be spoiled and outdoors at the same time.”

“Beautiful cottage resort our hockey team loved staying at. Having evening camp fires and afternoon fishing was perfect. I wish we had time for golf, the course looks amazing. My only complaint is that the resort is huge and they have little to no walking trails connecting the 2 areas together, it was faster to drive and that's not ideal. ”

“Great host, Rose cares about her guests you can tell that right away. The room we stayed in was beautiful, the cleanest I think I’ve ever stayed in and it was fully stocked with soaps, coffee & even makeup wipes for my wife. Rose accommodated dietary restrictions for our breakfast no problem. The perfect place to stay for couples visiting Port Hope and looking for something a bit more special than a hotel. Summertime would be even better. ”

“We arrived later in the evening and when we pulled the sheets back, there was hair and a small bug. We immediately went to the front desk and asked for another room - we were told they were sold out, even though Expedia said they had availability. THEN we said fine can we just get another set of sheets - THEY SAID NO, they didn’t have any !!! We had not choice but to deal with the nastiness. We slept on top of sheets after killing the bug ourself. Our kids swim I. The pool, which the bottom was……

“room was clean as could be but needs to be painted a new bed would help a lot. no heat hot water if you let water run for 30 minutes. there was only a shower in the bathroom and it was not clean ”

“The apartment is very clean and comfortable. The balcony overlooking the back gardens is a big plus. Margaret is very accessible and helpful. Her garden shop is a lovely place to browse. This is our third stay and we will most likely return if visiting in the area.”

“Everything was great! Continental breakfast was just enough for us to get our day started. Clean and centrally located. Staff was very friendly. This was our third visit to the Inn. ”

“Staff were helpful and friendly. Breakfast for two for $30 was not worth the price; was typical sausage and scrambled eggs, usually offered for free at other hotels. Otherwise the hotel was clean.”

“Was put above a smoking room and smoke filtered in at various times. Also that first floor room was the party pad and it got loud enough to wake me up at 4 in the morning. It is essentially a motel so to be expected. Breakfast was good and a nice perk. ”
