"Loved our stay for our 16th anniversary! Cute a-frame home with large windows that allows great natural light in. There is a hot tub on property but you have to fill, heat and drain it. We did not have time to use it. The outdoor patio was a great area to enjoy a cup of coffee and watch the sunrise and a nice glass of wine to watch the sunset. "

"It was horrible! Don't trust the online pics or the list of amenities they supposedly have. Cabins are the worst, we rented 5 in our group for a family reunion & all were horrible. We all ended up staying at a ranch half hour away & losing our paid reservation but they really could care less!The getaway cabin which was supposed to be nice, had sewer problems & the smell was gaging! They will tell you its the well water to just run hot water & not only does this not work, you end up with cold...

"The property is amazing! Very peaceful, great views, but not too far from Boerne and easy to get to San Antonio. David was a great host! The house is an old ranch house, so it has “character” like any older home, just don’t expect a luxury resort . One bedroom does have to go through another for bathroom access and same with RV. This stay was like having a state park just to ourselves without the camping or cramped cabin! "
