It was very spacious and had lots of amenities. The beach and location were great! I gave it a four and not a five because although the pool was wonderful and used a ton many people in our party got ear infections, which put a bit of a damper on the trip. Luckily someone had some ear drops that we used until we were able go home and see a doctor. When going to the doctor they said it was probably due to a poorly chlorinated pool. I'm not sure how often the pool is maintained or cleaned, but I never saw anyone there that checked the levels. Even with the ear aches we still had a great time." This should have been sent prior to my arrival. The first day, we didn’t have electricity and WiFi for a few hrs. I had a very important work meeting and it was very inconvenient and stressful. I also didn’t have any hot water throughout our stay. Taking cold showers was unpleasant. The place was not clean as it looks in the pictures (which is actually the penthouse not our actual room). It feels like an abandoned property that has not been maintained well. The only nice thing about this place is the oceanfront view. On our 2nd day, we woke up from an afternoon nap and was pretty much eaten alive with bed bug bites all over our bodies. I counted 50 bites, my sister had about 20\. We woke up in complete panic and packed our stuff immediately. We could not find another place to stay last minute so we ended up sleeping in our rental car. I was disgusted and have never encountered an experience like this. I contacted the host to let her know we had left the property early and her response was that she was sorry this happened to us and was not offered any compensation or refund.
