This is a superb hotel. The finishes are similar to La Alhambra. Outside has a gorgeous park, you’ll get to walk a little in a gorgeous park to get to the iconic Alhambra. Stunning views of the city. You’ll have Granada at your feet.

The service at this hotel is outstanding! From check in to the breakfast buffet, housekeeping, etc. everyone was friendly and attentive. There is onsite underground parking (smaller cars better), a restaurant that serves all day and has a great tapas menu, and the breakfast buffet has lots of choice. ...

We loved our stay at Aurea Catedral in Granada. The room was well appointed and comfortable and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. Beautiful hotel in a beautiful city.

Sadly, coffee machine broken and not replaced but there was an espresso machine there which I used. Also cushion in living room chair ripped. Everything else wonderful! Lovely people at the front desk which made our stay even better.

Enjoyed Granada very much. Seemed relatively safe. Was warned of pick pockets but never saw this. Just be wary. There were numerous pan handlers especially near the Granada Cathedral, but they are not particularly aggressive. Lots of street dining.
Plan more time in Granada. Book the Alhambra in advance (easy to do online). The lines are well managed, but it is busy even off season.

Make sure to look up parking tips ahead of time if you go. Some roads are restricted to locals in the center of town. We found it best to eat Morrocan
