“I had a fantastic stay at La Casa Juan Ranas. It was mid October so the weather was still warm and the local area was vibrant. The view from my suite’s terrace, was truly breathtaking - the best view of Alhambra! It was memorable having breakfast on my terrace and seeing the whole of Granada sprawling beneath the palace. The staff and hotel owner were great and made sure no request was too much - they were really friendly and helpful, arranging trips to the Alhambra. The food in the hotel……

“The staff Javier is very helpful. We check in earlier and can enjoy more time in Granada. The hotel location is very good. The 2-bedroom apartment is clean and living room is nice. Just a minor suggestion is to provide a chair in the room. ”

“Wonderful hotel and perfect location. The room was clean, bed comfortable, excellent bathroom. The A/C was keeping the room cool, no noise at all. There are nice lockers to store your luggage if needed. Although there is no reception desk, the staff greeted us on arrival and help us with everything we needed, very well organized property. We'll absolutely come back in the future!”

“We had a very lovely stay. The apartment was very clean and tastefully designed- loved the space and the interiors. Even though it is located in a very central location, the soundproofing was done very well and we can't really hear the outside world once the windows were shut. Also management was very quick to respond and remote check-in was done super smoothly. Very comfortable and lovely stay and we highly recommend this charming apartment!”

“breakfast is very limited. No sound insulation. can hear human talking very clear from street, corridor, etc. cannot sleep well. ”

“We paid parking fee in advance, but couldn’t reach the parking spot by following the instructions as there are police officers stopping you to drive towards the parking spot on a street only authorized bus/taxi can be allowed, I showed our reservation and the email/instruction to the officer but it didn’t work. We have to park a 40 minutes walk away and it took us 3 hours to finally check in after we arrived the town as you can’t communicate with the host if you don’t speak Spanish. Please……

“The way up by car is not for the faint hearted. Read the instructions clearly or you may come across serious problems. Once you get there, the parking is great. Hotel has an excellent location, and you can basically walk everywhere around the old part of town. Walking to Alhambra is doable but we took the bus and we were glad we did. Reception lady is very helpful and accommodating. Rooms are spotless with thick, fresh towels in the bathrooms. Great experience overall.”

“Not easy to find if driving”

“The La Corrala de Realejo is a wonderful gem, tucked away in the narrow, winding, cobbled-stone paths of Granada. The interiors have been thoughtfully renovated to reflect the architecture of the ancient city. Plus, the view of the Sierra Nevada from our living room was wonderful. Everything in the property worked fine and the staff were warm, welcoming and helpful all through!”

“Located in a quiet neighborhood. Near transportation to Alhambra. The apartment was clean and bright with a washer. The check in information from the property management was clear and easy to follow. We received a bottle of wine as an welcoming gift and we enjoyed our stay at this apartment.”

“Newly renovated hotel with great location, lots restaurants and coffee shops near by and the Cathedral only 8 minutes walk away. You can even see the night light of Alhambra through room windows. Staff are friendly and room is clean. Only weakness is there is no kettle in the room, in winter it is a bit pity.”

“Good location, great communication for check in and we were able to get into our room a bit earlier too which saved us having to lug our bags around! Room has everything you need, maybe a little dated but it was comfortable.”
