“It was a great Quaint stay”

“Kinda meh stay. Staff was nice and helpful. Property is okay. We stayed in a king room. I wouldn't call it a well renovated room. Pretty noisy and can hear the rooms above you and on the side. I was skeptical of the security. The door adjoining the rooms together was unlocked and unless I had a key couldn't lock it. Assumed the other side was locked. The entry door strikerplate was non existent and had a fraction of wood holding the door closed. Small screws held the safety lock in place. Easy……

“Caught red handed not giving a damn would be the best way to describe the management of this hotel. Check-in started at 3pm and we arrived at 4:15 pm to a room that wasn’t ready with a mattress hanging out the door. The motel looked to have one, maybe two other transient guests. That’s it. The manager appeared to need to wake-up the disheveled looking room cleaner who was living in another room and together they dragged the mattress away. Once in our room we noticed a hole in the bathroom……

“Centrally located with a high walking score to coffee, restaurants, shops and groceries. Very unique building, nice decor and cool art work in and outside of unit. More spacious than I thought. Bed and couch both very comfortable to sleep on. Plenty of bedding and towels. You have a 2 burner cooktop, microwave, toaster and small toaster oven. No coffee maker but 2 bodums. Plenty of dishes and cutlery. Coffee shops around the corner were great but if you drink a few cups of coffee a day that……

“extremely well kept and clean, owners are great and this is our go to place when we come to Christina Lake to golf, it’s very close to the course and visitor centre”
