“If your room is on the second floor, prepare to drag your bags upstairs (no elevator). We had dirty towels in the room, and the air conditioning was off in the room, so it was hot and the carpet was wet with humidity. The smell of mold hits you when you open the door. It might be the worst place I’ve ever stayed. Also, the front desk makes you pay for water with cash… we made our reservation while driving the same evening without seeing the property. “We had a wonderful stay at the Regency Inn. The owners were extremely friendly, welcoming, and clearly take great pride in their motel. This is not a Hyatt or Hilton, nor does it try to be. It is a traditional motel, and it was very nice, comfortable, and exceptionally clean. Our room was well maintained, and everything appeared fresh and cared for.
