“It was a nice camp cabin sleep up to 4 people. No running water. But had electricity refrigerator and mic and coffee pot. They furnished towels for shower in camp site. I didn’t understand when I booked it all of this from what I was reading.”

The mist rising over the lake in the mornings was absolutely beautiful. We enjoyed the kayaks, fishing, the hot tub and the quiet of the lake. I would highly recommend this accommodation. “The cabin was real nice and clean. Everything in it worked well the grounds were nice and clean. It was real quiet the only noise were the crickets outside. The owners were very helpful as far as where to go and things to do in the area. We will be going back and staying at these little cabins every time we go. ”

“We had the best time for a two night, three day visit at the cabin. It was a wonderful time for three high school classmates. We loved the accommodations, the views and how clean everything was. We talked, we laughed and we even shared a few tears. Thank you for our first outing and we hope to do it again.”

“Wish we had a way to control the weather. The week had thunderstorms and tornado threats most of the week. That caused lake levels to be 2 to 3 ft higher than normal, a very unusual occurrence, according to locals. The house was very comfortable. The spiral staircase was a little bit of a child hazard, but there was a gate at the top of the stairs (2 yr old figured out how to unlock within the first hour in the house and still no mishaps.) The walkway down to the dock is extremely steep and……

Hot tub was hot, fire pit was ready to start, s’mores station was stocked and there were more than enough towels and dishes to take care of us and our adult children. It might seem like a lot of minor things but they did add up to a relaxing and enjoyable stay.”

“Property was just as listed. Near the lake, lots of campers and RV's as well as lake homes nearby. My guess is it's a hoppin place during the summer season with many friendly folks around. House had everything we needed to be comfortable and allowed us to stay within an hour drive of seeing the eclipse. Lots of good places to eat close by too. Would stay again.”

“We chose this cabin for a weekend getaway to relax and enjoy the outdoors. This cabin was exactly what we needed. We loved the cute, little cabin and all the amenities. The view is breathetaking. My daughter spent hours fishing the lake and caught multiple bluegill and fish. We appreciated the board games, cards and activity books provided with the house. We made good use of them on the rainy days. The cabin was very stocked and had everything we need. Host were great and very quick to respond……

“We appreciated the cleanliness for a pet-friendly cabin. There were no odors or any evidence of pets. We appreciated the thoughtful ammenities (coffee, water in fridge,etc) and the well-cared for kitchenware. Our trip was cut short by storms and power was out, but with windows open, it was cool and comfy inside. Would stay again!”

“This cabin is so beautiful, well maintained, and furnished with everything you need to have a relaxing stay. The outdoor spaces allow for multiple locations to unwind, especially the screened-in porch. Pattie (the owner) is so friendly and welcoming. The pride she takes in her beautiful cabins is evident and she strives to ensure her guests feel welcomed and have everything they need. We loved our stay so much, we are planning another trip to Cadiz this fall and are planning to rent this cabin……

“Fiahing trip, was everything we expected”

“We went down for a family reunion/ 80th Birthday party & wasn't sure what to expect from the place but was very impressed when we got there, the place was very clean & the host had snacks & a cute cake for us & snacks for our dog poppy we thought was so very thoughtful. The place totally blew our expectations out the park. Was very nice & roomy & comfortable & had all the amenities outside that you would need. The only thing you have to have is your food & drinks & clothes. Was our first cabin……

“This was really a wonderful space right on lake Kentucky for our family of 4 to stay in for a weekend. There was a pool table, 4 kayaks, and a small dock. Also Paducah is not far. As a result there was plenty to do! Highly recommend.”

“The place was very nice. Rain caused some glitches in our plans. Only things that we would have liked to have in the rental that it didn't were a bathroom exhast fan & maybe some seasonings and oil in the kitchen.”
