What I enjoyed most about this property was Keyonia. She was the smiling happy face that greeted us when we arrived, and was also that way when we checked out. She actually made eye contact, greeted us by our names, made us laugh, interacted, and even offered us water because she could see that it was late and we were exhausted. There was even a little mix up with our reservation that we didn’t even know about, but she brought it to our attention, and even took care of it! In this day and...

The Mother Earth was wonderful beyond expectations. It is a Gem in the town of Kinston. I love the Retro Mother Earth Theme. Very clean and well supplied with amenities.
All staff were very friendly and helpful. Ashley answered every question with me feeling I was not bothering her. I definitely felt she was sincere in her help.

Hotel seemed very short staffed. Although they were nice, the amenities were short changed. Pool too small. Infused water in lobby was nice thought but was always empty. No ice machines - had to ask at registration. Then they went to the bar and had to have our own vessel to put in. Never could find a luggage cart. Looked like there were only 2 for the entire place.

We were grateful they were able to accommodate us after leaving that nasty Country Inn by Radisson. Front desk lady was very very nice and professional and our room was ok as well.
Thank you!

Convenient off of the highway, good eats nearby, a very clean room, helpful staff and a nice breakfast - that's really all a weary traveler needs and they deliver.
