"Easy check in, place was very clean and very convenient, on check out day they took our bags for the day which was amazing. They even had a shower we could have used after the beach before heading to the airport."

Very welcoming hostess, very clean rooms, spacious, very close to airport. I like to thank the hostess for the delicious grapes and sweets. I like to recommend this apartment so convenient to the airport and comfortable. Thank you again

Everything was good, the most important part for us was that it was close to the airport. Only problem it was that there is not elevator and had to carry our big heavy suitcases.

A surprising gem of a hostel which feels more like an updated boutique hotel. Great amenities, beautiful updated rooms and main spaces with sleek rustic atmosphere, comfy bed and shower, clean, comfortable minimalism, fantastic food at the on site restaurant. I like that their pool and sitting common areas are so inviting. Whoever decorated has a great touch! Only downside is having to leave it- we hope to be back someday!

A great stay in a quiet neighborhood. The owner was super helpful and communicated quickly via email and text.
Walkable to countless restaurants downtown.
We will definitely stay there again!

Hotel was gorgeous and very clean. We reserved ocean front balcony and it was worth it to have a view of the ocean. The pool was amazing with lots of chairs and umbrellas. The beach was also nice (bring water shoes as the beach is rocky) with lots of chairs and umbrellas. This hotel is a bit out of the way from all the downtown things (which we liked for the quiet aspect) so food options were more limited, but the food the hotel offered and few restaurants on property were very yummy.

Apartment Dub is a perfect location for visiting Cavtat and Dubrovink area. The apartment is very close walking distance to Cavtat town center. A small grocery store is less than a block away. A bus stop is directly across the street for the bus to and from Dubrovink ( scheduled every 30 minutes). A small restaurant is 50 feet from the bus stop. The apartment managers will arrange transport to and from the airport ( either they or their sons will take you for half the fee of a taxi). The...

Beautiful suite steps from the promenade with easy access to restaurants and water taxis. Great lication to explore and enjoy as a solo traveler or with family or friends. We only stayed one night because of proximity to the airport, but this area is a destination in and of itself.

The apartment is on top of a harbor in Cavtat, super modern and brand new. View at sunset to die. A short drive to anything. Everything was well appointed and sparkling clean. The apartment is perfect for a family or a couple of people. Large bedrooms and comfortable beds.
Even the towels were new and plush. Host was very communicative, just make sure to coordinate with them to greet you on the main road outside the complex. Josip and his family checked in and provided everything with ease.

The location is perfect! Few things for you to know:
- no elevator (few stairs)
- no self check-in
- no electronic key access (traditional key)
- noisy (but it is expected)
- no ironing option
- no staff onsite
- no safe (but I didn't needed, it looks pretty safe)
- you have work with your check-in schedule to accommodate your host schedule to make sure she is there for you to access the building when you arrive.
Host is super responsive and accommodating .

Beautiful boutique hotel. No elevator as we were on the 3rd floor. Bags were handled by the staff, which was very helpful.
Make sure your cab leaves you at the Pile gate, not the other gate(tons of steps)

WOW!!! I was speechless at this hotel. We stayed for two glorious nights and it was better than the best Marriott I have stayed at. Not only was it only a few years old, but the rooms were huge and the shower was to die for. We went down for breakfast (included in the minimal amount) and I actually asked the receptionist if that spread was the one included in our nightly price. Also, there was a bus stop that took all of 3 minutes to get to the main gate of the old city. It was about 30...

The best area to stay in Gruda for travelers seeking a tranquil and authentic Croatian experience is directly within the village center or in the surrounding countryside.
The village center of Gruda offers a peaceful setting with traditional stone houses, local eateries, and a sense of community. It's a place where you can experience the rhythms of local life, with the local church and small shops forming the heart of the area. This is ideal for couples looking for a romantic escape, as it provides a quiet backdrop for relaxation and walks through the picturesque streets.
For families, staying in a villa or guesthouse in the immediate countryside surrounding Gruda offers more space and privacy. These accommodations often come with private pools and gardens, providing a retreat where children can play freely.
When is the best time to go to Gruda?
The best time to visit Gruda is during the shoulder seasons, specifically from late April to early June and again from September to October.
During these months, the weather is pleasantly warm, ideal for exploring the Konavle Valley's vineyards and olive groves without the intense heat of mid-summer. You'll find fewer crowds at popular attractions and restaurants, allowing for a more relaxed experience. This period is also superb for enjoying outdoor activities like cycling or hiking the trails around the Ljuta River.
For travelers looking to enjoy swimming and sunbathing, July and August offer the warmest sea temperatures, though this is also when Gruda and the wider Dubrovnik region experience the highest number of visitors.
