This restaurant used to be the former home of Al Capone, a home he purchased for his Mistress. Capone would stop here during his travels to Florida. This home is constructed with underground tunnels and an elaborate system in the basement for making liquor that he was bootlegging. Accounts from locals say he and John Dillinger played cards on the patio and had multiple ways to escape the hole if needed, including holes on the exterior walls for placing your feet if scaling a wall.

"This is an ideal place for a couple, or small family with one or two children, looking for a comfortable, yet charming place to stay on Signal Mountain. Very convenient location and the owners were extremely kind, accommodating and quick to handle and fix a minor issue that arose. We highly recommend it!!"
