“My family had an incredible time during our three days/two nights at Rancho el Rio. The kids were entranced by the many animals on the property (especially the friendly dogs!) and we loved hanging on the porch and playing games. “We were greeted at the gate by the host to make sure we knew where to park and that we had everything we needed. He set up a tour of the property the following morning and my daughter got to ride a horse all around the property. We loved learning about the plants and the animals and even got to see 8 piglets that were born overnight! We played in the river and ate at nearby sodas. We spent 3 nights here and enjoyed the sunset views overlooking the beautiful mountains as we traveled home from……

“This upper level of a two-story condo has such a beautiful tree house feel. We loved all the windows and jungle sounds. It was clean and well-equipped and we didn't hear any noises from the neighbors around us. Beds were very comfy. A lovely 15-minute drive back into Monteverde. It felt secluded without feeling isolated and is near many options for tours of all kinds. Highly recommend!”
